Couple of thing don't match... I thought the HP500 was a 502 with 9+to 1 compression. The ad states 540 and 8.75. The guy won't answer emails.

the HP500 is a 502 not a 540 and the two pics he has posted are of diffrent motors one is carb one is EFI?

100 percent SCAM, look at his other items, No real photos just ones copied from the net.

I've had bad experiences buying anything on eBay listed from Vegas -- and absolutely won't even consider anything that is sold with cashiers check only from anywhere, Something about the locale and the payment restrictions don't pass the "smell test".

Step away from the computer

The specs he gives seem to be for a 500 bulldog (540ci, 500hp). But that was definitely a carb motor. What could possibly go wrong dealing with someone that doesn't know the difference?

That is also just the opening bids, reserve not met.

The SOB replied back, he wants $12,000 for shipping and says the motor is in Italy, and to use some no-name escrow service...BIG SCAM!
