Not on my II's. I had to change the jack due to a minor leak. You will have to disect the seats, but you don't have to peel back padding. Just nuts and bolts.
FYI, McLeod should be able to help you out. They covered my jack at no cost. Stand-up company!

Have a customer that wanted to modify some bolsters that he bought to put in his boat and change one of the darker colors to something lighter. He ended up calling the company and they stepped him thru exactly what to do to take the seat apart and in the exact order. As I remember he was able to do it with minimal hassle and was very pleased with their support. So give them a call.

My McLEod passenger bolster motor is loose,, just discovered this the other day,, seat will not go to the full up position,, Guess I need to take mine apart also.
