Re: Stereo question
If your Kenwood does not have an aux in (rca) on the back of the radio, then there should be an adapter made by Kenwood that would tie into the radio via the cd changer port. This would give you full control like you have with a cd changer for your ipod. You need to first of all, have a radio that is MP3 capable so that you can properly display your music files. If this does not work, the next best thing would be to use a wired fm-modulator to harness the sound properly into the radio. Pioneer has some pieces like this: CD-RB10 & CD-RB20 (www.pioneerelectroincs.com). These pieces plug into the changer port on the radio and give you a standard rca input for the radio.

Re: Stereo question
Just found these at Crutchfield, adapters for most major brands as well as factory auto systems.

Re: Stereo question
boatn70, if you go to that link, there are adapters for a variety of stereos, mine is a factory installed Kenwood system (Formula) and I just ordered the adapter. I will let ou know how it works, but it will probably be a month of so before I get the boat out of storage.

Re: Stereo question
im talking about the "radio station" idea....i installed a unit that will play mp3 discs, so i just burn my own! i know its not the size storage as the ipod but it works!!
i used to have the sattelite radio and thought it would be cool for all the boats at the beach to tune to a "radio channel" and play whatever i was playing on mine!!!
thanks
