Identify This Carb???
 

This is a carb(s) that I inherited when I bought the boat.
I've been told that they are 750's that now flo out to 830's
The number 3913 and 6R3752B has been stamped on the body by the secondaries.
On the primary side is stamped P-46
On the secondary side R-24
I really would like to know what I have to work with.

With the choke horn machined off. :rolleyes:
On my monitor it looks like it had some type of tag on the top of the bowls :confused:

The number you are looking for is/was on the choke horn... which appears to have been cut off... :( Without that... it just looks like a 4150 double pumper to me. Sorry.

The tags were off when I got it.
The metering blocks have 11180 stamped on them.
The carbs were done by well known carb shop in Mississippi or Louisiana.
Maybe someone from that area could give me some insite.

Maybe I should just trash the damn things and feed my engines
with an 850 Mighty Demon? :mad:

Get a caliper and measure the ID of the body bore and the the throttle bore. I can get it pretty close for you then. The only reason they say it flows 830 CFM is because some idiot milled the choke shroud off instead of using a substack.

1.68" throttle bore
2.00" body bore

I took the body measurement of one bore from the outside machined edge to the center of the body?
Is this the correct way to measure?

looks like an 850.Turn it over and look at the flaps.180=850cfm.172=750cfm
