The crane box comes with waterproof connectors that should adapt to the MSD distributor.

[QUOTE=ratman]im not going to be running chillers on my 588s due to the fact i dont want to make addl hp. i dont wanna punish my drives or trans. /QUOTE]

Chillers main job is to prevent detonation. With a chiller you can run lower octane fuel & not worry about distroying the motor. They give you a bigger safety margin. Tomcat did a test with an intercooler & found it only added about 30-40 hp on a 700+ hp motor.

Jack is right; in the tests we did we had the intercooler in place, just ran it with and without water back to back. It only added 25 HP, but knocked the air temp down about 125F. This was on a centrifugal blower. With a Roots blower, just adding the intercooler doesn't add any HP unless you also put on a smaller pulley at the same time. The extra resistance of the core might actually reduce HP, but you would have a much bigger detonation safety margin.

i was told that if you dial everything in with a chiller as it gets crusty inside and becomes inneffective your setting yourslf up for problems when the intake chage doesn't get cooled any longer? what is the service life of a chiller core if flushed religeously? who's chiller give the best perf for the bucks? thx in advance. i wanna get it right the first time...
