Default Trailer weight question?

Is there much difference in the weight of a trailer between aluminum and steel? Comparable length comparable weight capacity. For examble a trailer of hauling a 35 ft boat and whatever the standard weight capacity would be, I would guess somewhere around 15000 llbs.

Thanks

Default Re: Trailer weight question?

I had a aluminum I beam trailer with aluminum wheel and it floated.Cheap trailers but it held up.My aluminum Myco I bet is not much heavier

I would think the name brand would make a difference .
