Default Baja - Gps

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to mount a GPS unit on a 342 Baja (or similar Baja model)?? There doesn't seem to be a poistion where it isn't either in the way of other guages or looks bad.
Thanks!

Mount it somewhere where you can't see it. This way you won't see how fast your REALLY going.

Seriously, if you have a picture of the dash you can post that would help. I'm sure you'll get some good ideas here.

I agree with Dave M. Lets see the dash. I've never seen one on a 342 baja

I had the same problem on my formula
Solved it by fixing a new position for the gauges
look at this

Hey Goofy,

Is that Smartcraft you have there? That looks like a cool system. I'm thinking of re-powering with a 496 HO and was looking at Smartcraft. If you don't mind me asking, how much $$ for the monitors, and is that the only component you need?

Only the SC 5000 Monitors are Smart Craft

The gauges are Livorsi Platinum (not Smartcraft)

I have Triple Engines so I needed 2 SC 5000 Monitors

I got one Monitor for free , cause they had pproblems with the triple engine setup
the software of the monitors does not comletely supply triple engine installation

In their Smartcraft manuel they say that they will support up to 4 Engines but it works only good up to twins.
The mayor problem is the fuel consume - The system does not calculate the complete consume.

I bought the system here in europe - I Think 1 SC 5000 is about 1800 $
