Also there a set of pistons in the classified section.

I am not familiar with the Eickert oil system. I just noticed it was not the Merc stuff.

I am more than likely going to make 540 EFI's out of mine. The Whipple also looks good now. 725HP will not be friendly on the drives.
The motor is already .030 over,Thanks anyway It has the B Max drives on it ,I talked to Dean at the Bravo Shop and I am sending them back to get cked out and one is not shifting to good and he is going to fix that. So I should be ready to go??

I do think the CR is down because of the Blower pistons so that should be the cause of the mph difference from the factory test report. we'll see??

How are the lifters ?

I'm right in the middle of doing a pair of HP500's,
that had a lifter failure ( broken roller ), so, these pictures
kind of hit close to home.

Keep the pic's coming.......It's going to be a loooong winter up here.

Yea it was bad . Once I got it to the house taking the crap off of then just to put it on the engine stand,I miss my old Scarab carbed blower motor ,easier

The lifters look ok ,looks to have some water stains from sitting up . I have not felt the rollers yet ,but I plane on replacing them anyway, good insurance .these only had 180 hours on them , I am real easy on parts early in the day, until

Winter has;nt even started here , the last 2 Sundays we have been going drag racing ,but it looks like rain this weekend The car is picking up ,fixing to break into the 8's

Articfriends before OSO and computers I stayed in the garage playing . I guess thats my down fall

iamfaster you might have to wait, don't get DT's

Open 72 go back to work and quite looking in the background

fountain_333 These heads have a LITTLE port work done to them , I am going to have them flowed just to see the #s,This may give you an idea on what the do.

Lou I will get you some pictures of that oil change system I made.

Ck out the odd ball cam bolt no lock tite

Does this timing chain look like a stock 500efi??

It had some slack so I will prob put a cloyds hex-a-just in it.

The KE oil thermostat kit, remote adapter with steel RUSTING fittings . I will change them out.

Rod bearing in #1 motor , its 3 different name brands Michigan 77,Clevite cp743p,FM-7200ch.

The 77 had a large chamfer [for a stock crank.WHY?]

I understand sometimes you mix up bearings to get the right clearance, But 3 different ones I have bought the under or over size bearing and used just half of it to come up the that special clearance ,But

Look at the 3rd pick on the chamfer , lot of rod not supported

Laz here is the pick on the balancing holes , small drill bit. The # 2 motor the crank has regular size holes on it .On the pistons On both motors there is no balancing marks in them??

What you think??

I figure I will get it rebalanced just for the hell of it . to make sure!!
