I have had my system on since they started making them and never a problem
installed it myself

It was an add on system, and I sold the boat before I really figured it out. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't really a big deal...in fact if i'd kept it, I woulda just left it alone. Worked great otherwise, and seemed really well built.!

The hard to turn at idle is one of the draw backs of the add on systems. As soon as you give it a bit of gas, it becomes easy.

Just received my steering (full hyd.) and it looks extreme good, all details that you need included. The finish is suberb and construction looks solid. Brian is very helpful and gets you what you need. Cant wait to try it on my boat....

Madmax, I believe most all add on systems are hard to steer at idle.
A full system is the only way to go in my opinion.

I had Brian install a full hydraulic system last summer, no problems & top notch.
