Gulf Coast Avionics, Sporty's Pilot Shop, Pacific Coast Avionics, and a myriad of other places, all with websites, are around for the people shopping for portable units and headsets. I also have a portable 4-place unit that I use occasionally.
Quiet Flite makes a really nice panel-mount stereo unit with celphone input as well as music inputs.
Sigtronics also offers panel-mount intercoms and installation kits. You may be able to buy sealed units for marine/open cockpit applications.
