It's all the same thing.
A sandblasting media that's a coal derivative .
Auto body shops to heavy industry uses it to strip paint,rust ,etc.
Hell of a lot more aggressive than sand.

Since I am very experienced with having (sold ) a Powder Coat company I can tell you it is very true some are much easier to strip than others. Reason is that there are Polyesters, Epoxies and mixes in the middle called hybrids.
Anyway, the best way which I still use is sending it out and having it chemically done.Not expensive and is perfect. Call around to some Coating companies and ask them who they use to strip their bad parts and racks used for hanging parts. Or maybe they know of a company that strips chemically. Many use ovens to burn it off which is fine for any steel part. But aluminum requires chemicals. Blasting is very time consuming and generally not worth it.
