The boat runs fine except that I can only get to the mid sixties with a labed mirage plus 23p. The boat is a 96 Scarab 29 with a single 502 mpi. My problem is that I cant seem to get the bow up like I'd like. Could be the fact that I'm running 6 optima gel batteries and a 2000 watt stereo system. Four of the batteries are mounted in the storage bin in my cabin area. I was really looking at my options to pick up some speed. I think I'm going to go with a set of headers and a whipple charger. I'll also rebuild the motor as well. I have those resources at work, but I don't know didley about fiberglass.

Searay Jim,

I don't know exactly where he is located. I only talked to him on the phone. According to Casey at the Baja/Fountain dealer ship he has done all there work and some other race boats. He said it would cost about 2 grand to for my 25' boat. Still thinking about haveing him do it.

The boat is was running pretty good. Got 69MPH gps after I had the prop labbed. Gained 3 mph not to bad. I still need to go down to Bobs this sping and fine tune it the motor some. How's your motor comming along?

I'll bet that's him. I've heard a lot of good things about his gel and glass work. I ran by there a week or so ago and he was filled up! He always has at least 1 big go fast of some sort. As I drive by there was a Fountain being pulled in.

The motor is coming along. Should be ready and in the boat sometime after the holidays. I have to admit, I'm getting a little giddy!
