I Just Bought A Baja 320 That Has No Switchable Exhaust No Captains Call Nothing Just Strait Out The Transom Looking For Options And Cost. Would Mufflers Be Good Enough For Places That Require Your Boat To Be Quiet.

I have Stainless Marine switchables looks like easier add ons than silent choice and they take the bite out of the mills but it's still loud. A lot of people here on the lake have HPI's that are permanent and work really well... PM powerguy he has some on his ride.

When the Man's around I usually shut one engine down and with the muffleron the other I'm legal...
Well no uploading pics this AM but i'll post later

Jimb, I can set you up with GGB's. I like the transom mounts myself but you can do Slip ons or in-line. The in-lines work out real well for normally aspirated motors and will drop your db's by about 10-14db. These aren't too expensive and they are holding up on all the boats we've put them on. You won't notice any HP loss although you might see a slight rpm loss at WOT. This will be the case with ANY full time muffler.

Just for whats its worth I have heard a lot recently about the effectiveness of mufferlers made by Gatlin. I think I am spelling it right. Just a thought.

I have the HPI's on stock motors and they work great..... still leave enough noise but definitely take the bark out of the exhaust with no loss of rpm...They worked great for me.

I like my Shotguns ! They help only at idle and have some adjustment in the spring tension ! One of the cheaper choices ! I have twin 468's with 9.5 to 1 comp. and 550 Hp. Stainless Marine manifold's with long tail pipe's ! Water mixes at the transom and still makes a difference !
