Re: O ringed block
The Important Thing To Look At Is Weather The Oring Job That Is There Will Work For The Gasket Your Going To Use If Not Then You Would Have To Machine It Out The Only Gasket Fel Pro Makes With A Full Round Bore Is The Pro Stock Gasket I Think Its 17095 If Im Not Mistaking Don't Quote Me There . Otherwise You Can Use A Copper Gasket Which I Do Not Recomend For Marine Use. Good Luck Laz Mesa

Deck it and run a good gasket, Fel-Pro or Cometic.

Re: O ringed block
If you decided to not use the o rings and had the block decked, wouldn't decking that much material off the top of the block create problems with getting the pistons t.d.c. correct? You may have to go with a custom pin location to get the quench area right. That may also create alignment problems with the intake manifold.

Re: O ringed block
It might depending on how much material is still left on the decks. I wouldn't take it past a 0 deck hgt. O-ring grooves are not very deep.

Re: O ringed block
You may want to check if it has already been decked then O-ringed.
