Switching to Bravo I propellers will increase your bow lift and theoretically decreasing wetted surface area...however in turn your stern will drop. This may be good for your set-up but you won't know until you throw a set on there! It is also possible that the decrease in stern lift may increase your drag and slow you down. I would recommend trying a set and you will know.

Please educate me. Why don't you want the boat to run flat? Won't that pack more air in the tunnel and theoretically raise the entire boat out of the water? Won't more air increase top end?
thanks in advance

SHawn,
I agree, flat is good with this boat. But it really sometimes can be a personal choice as to how someone likes there boat to run. Maybe johnnyboatman can explain what the boat feels like and what improvements he feels it needs.

Shawn,
All is Great here!
If it is a cat run it flat! Of course we wnat to be able to trim the bow up say for big water but we s=certainly don't want to creat a blowover situation!

Bravos helped my 27 daytona, before with Hyd.,s it wasn't terrible, but when I swithched from 27 Quad IV's to 28 Bravos, almost no cavitation out of the hole, faster cruise, top speed increased about 2 mph as far as I could tell with varying load conditions, etc.. But the rear end at times would feel a little loose before now perfect. You can't beleive how it improved the manners of my hull. Try the Bravo's.
