ARIZONA SPEEDA & MARINE UPGRADE?
 

Has anyone running a procharger upgraded to the MEFI3 computer and bigger injectors that ASM sells as a kit? If you did was there any performance increase or is just a reliability issue? I think it runs around $1200. Any input would be appreciated.

I think the injectors on the 454 & 502 are pretty big to start with. I hear they use an injector larger than on a 500efi. Was your mefi 1 reprogrammed?

Ken, I'm not busting in on your thread but I didnt know if I told you. The mefi1 was reprogrammed.

That's ok Shoe, I knew that but I was told that I could upgrade to mefi3 and larger injectors and pick up a littlte and be safer on the engine. I'd like to know if someone has done it first and if it was worth the money. Oh yeah, I posted some pics in the baja sec. in 272 opinions. Check it out.

I would ck with Mark with Precision Marine 504-469-7463, He has done alot of the ProChargers.

I would do a search on AZM there are some negative threads on them :eek:

I agree with Strip. Mark at Precision Marine has had some input already on your motor and is very knowledgeable with the Prochargers and their programing. I would highly reccomend him.

Bilgerat He has a procharged 97 502 mpi.

You need to call Mark at Precision Marine .

I have a friend that has the Baja 272 with the 502 mpi procharged and Mark did the computer on it. The guy has been running for 4 summers and is running low 80's MPH.

He is one on ARIZONA SPEED & MARINE ecm problems

Ken tell us some more about your boat , prop,rpm speeds, How's it doing now.Have ya had any drive problems yet?
