So that bushing replaces the other one totally. Do ya have to press out the old one out ? I guess the cone goes on top of the bushing then the fiber washer? the washer looks to small for the bolt, may the the angle of the pick.
I figure the spring washer goes flat after your torque the bolt anyway. and they wanted some movement :eek: there with the engine alignment ? Thanks Rob :D |

Also looks like the new kit does not need the spacer part #23-99299 for the bolts.

The fiber washer goes between the inner plate and the flywheel housing. The only purpose I can figure is to prevent metal to metal contact, possibly with enough engine torque, or the bushing slips out of postion, or fails.
