Has any one bought one from Intense Marine from FL here off the board? Just curious if they are really original Mercruiser pumps, or just painted GM pumps. Reconditioned?? Price seems to good to be true for a marine pump.

I have a feeling they are takeoffs ...(new) ....those guys do a lot of werk and prob install a lot of crossovers ..... I am sure they will tell ya ...

I bought one. They told me they were brand new, not take offs and are Merc part numbers 850454-1, according to Tony at Intense. I had it shipped to Full Throttle Marine so I haven't seen it.

FYI, they may not like me saying this, but I had to fax a CC auth. form back and forth as they said they would only take CC, no Paypal etc. Well I found out they sell them on eBay and yes you guessed it, they take Paypal.

Anyhow, they shipped it right away. Maybe "bobl" will chime in and confirm what showed up and how it looked. It was a month or so ago when I ordered it and I haven't thought to ask him about it when we've talked. He's putting my motor together and in my boat in the next week or so, so I hope it was good

It was the correct pump and appears to be new.
