New Here... Break in period Cig-20

Hey all, I'm the noo guy around here..
I'm in the process of entering the world of fast boating.
I just picked up a Cigarette 20, with the following..
Bravo-One, trailer, new front seats in boxes and an assortment of parts in boxes.
The boats old school, drives on the left with a "hot foot" pedal.

How much is too much?
I have a strong background in highpower build ups for the street and strip.
I have a bowtie block and rectangular heads to match..
Here are my thoughts..
The bowtie block is an easy stroker build.. I have a line on a 1/4" lunati crank that will yeild 496 inches with a stock hole. (i'll most likely need to puch .030) I'll go with a mildly hot roller setup, I'm looking for around 500 ponies. I'd really like to see 80mph or better (closest to God as I'll ever get... eh airdog?)
I have most of a stainless marine performane exhaust, and will mostliky run some sort of a solenoid controlled captain's call or equiv.

I plan on running this on the ocean or in big lakes.
I figure hydraulic steering is the way to go and will need trimtabs to negate the prop torque..

I think this thing's gonna be a "laugh riot"
I'd really appreciate any thoughts anyone (but airdog) has on this setup

Sadist,

Since you are the new pup around here, we at club OSO are gonna cut you a break.

There are probably a bunch of people ready to respond to your question, but yet you have no replies and it has been 5 days now.

Why do you think that is?

Could it be your punk a$$ tone? Could it be your condesending attitude already with only 5 post under your belt? Could it be your just a loud mouth who wants to surf OSO for free and not pay dues to see the pictures?

Here is an idea, why don't you go outside and play a nice game of hide and go f#ck yourself...

Just kidding, welcome to the board pal.

For those of you who don't know this idiot, I have been sailing with John "sadist" for a decade now and he has been laughing at me an my performance boat. Just glad you decided to join us...

"Closest to God you'll ever get!"

Around here we keel haul Blow Boaters at 75mph, and we know where you are. We will drag you from the Charles to the Graves then throw you in the the Dungeon at George's.

Hey Airhead (dog)... "YOO DRIVE BOAT!"... Go Fly a kite!!
I ponied up the big cake and am now a bona-fide platinum member
Heatbuzz, nope not scared...yet... just been hitting and running cant get to the computer as much as I'd like.. I'll be away on Vacation (kinda) next week but I should be able to check in..

I'm looking forward to getting this thing up and runnin' she's a little rough now.. She came with all the hardware, (hathes, hinges, cleats, hot foot, docking lights ect... My 'glass guy / painter is gonna check her out tonight and we'll see what the next steps are.. I'm gonna try to attatch some pics.. The hull is about ready for paint, I'm gonna go with some black cherry imron, (not sure though..came with boat), add varnished teak to center of deck in the indent, go with liquid filled auto-meter instrumentation it has new front seats, I'll need to get the rear seat made up, and perhaps knock a scoop in the rear deck to accomodate the tall deck / team G combo I plan to run.

not your typical blow boater...
Sadist

Any thoughts on which steering / tabs to run?? I know this will be quite the handfull.

John,

Doesn't look bad at all. Looks like it is all prepped for paint?

It appears somebody made a nice fairing where the windshield used to be...
