Tie Bar Installation

i would like to move my tie bar from the trim cylinder saddles to the wing plates. i thought the trim cylinder/ saddle tie bar application was for non hydraulic set-ups. on mine i notice the saddles move and gouge themselves into the drives. i tighten them but they still move(possibly one tilt motor quicker than the other?).any help would be appreciated.

Re: Tie Bar Installation

Everyone told me that is the best place for them, and if you think about there right , thats where the have the best leaverage(strength). if you could build you a piece of nylon,tephlon,delron...whatever to sadle the bracket ,so it would not swivil so much and bind. It would not dig in to the drive
