I saw some posts last year about carpet removal tips. I can't seem to find any now. Any suggestions? I have a 21 ft boat that needs carpet. It is getting a little worn. I am getting a good carpet from the Profile boats here in town. Thanks for any help. BTW, Is there a special marine glue?

Pull like he%% just use the cheep glue if you use outdoor glue and spill gas or oil on the carpet it will turn loose the cheep stuff fuel doesn't bother it. Try a heat gun if you cant pull it up clean the floor and glue it or put snaps on it so you can just unsnap the carpet.

Check out carpet from R&R Textiles with non-skid backing. It's heavy enough that glues isn't required. If any hold down is necessary I'd use that industrial grade velcro. I use it to hold the bracketand display for my GPS and Radar.
