I had a 211 with a 340hp 460 Ford did 61/62. Replaced it with a 625/540. No GPS at the time , but stood an 80 mph speedo straight down
My guess would be upper 60's perhaps 70 on a cool dry day.
(I'm pessimistic so not to be disappointed)
Another way to look at it is 3 to 4 mph per 100 hp gain.

I have an 87 241 with a 540, 585hp, 615ft lbs, spinning a labbed bravo 26p 4900 rpm 65mph. I want to try a mirage plus 25 or 27. My drive is too deep, I was told a mirage will let me hit 5500Rpm and 70mph. GPS speeds here.

Lets see pics of your boat, Id like to hear more about it!

I'm running 60mph in a 211 with a stroked small block, and a 21" SST Viper on an OMC Cobra drive, and just me in the boat.

I feel you should see realistic speeds of solid low 70's. I had a 90 221 Liberator with a 454HO set of EMI Headers, small cam increase, Aluminum Intake, & MSD Ignition. After Lengthy prop testing I found a consitent 67 on a gps speedo. I'm not sure of HP specs but I'm guessing I was arond 450 after mods??

I had a 211 libbyy and loved it, couple notes for you...Mine had a built in rocker in the hull, if your looking for speed this may be something you want to get rid of?? but it may affect the ride?? best prop on my hull was a Ballistic, tried them all Mirage, Bravo, Viper etc...

I have a 93 librator 221 with 502 omc with motor work. lighting tubular headers, roller rocker arms, victor jr. intake com cam 4800 to 5500 rpm. im thinking its around 500+hp. Im running the stock prop 141/2 x 20 . speed before motor work was 62mph on a good day, now after motor work my best is 64mph on ruff water. I want to get more out of it . whats the best prop for the liberator?

I used to have a 251 Liberator and was running a OMC Viper prop. For the latest in prop design you need to get a Merc prop with the Flo-Torq hub system so you can run Merc Props on a Cobra drive.

A 23" Mirage plus or a four blade Bravo 1 prop should help you a lot
