Sheet Metal Intake!

Anyone using a sheet metal intake manifold on their motor? I would like to talk to a manufacturer of these. Anyone have any some info on a reputable manufacturer? They look cool and I believe they can be custom made for a particular application for some extra HP!

Thanks,

Craig

They are fragile and I would imagine not USCG approved. Backfire cause big issues with them. Although I agree they
really look great. :D

While I don't have any experience with sheet metal manifolds for marine use, I have used Hogans manifolds for Drag racing before with great success. The only guy I know of that has used them on baots before is Mr. Gadgets. I haven't seen him around as much lately. Maybe he is busy building drives everyday.

I would get a hold of CFE up in MI. Carl's stuff has been the hot ticket for years now. If you need the number let me know. Be ready to shell out around $3500 to $6500 for an intake.

I believe that Hawk 1000 hp's had them. Probably built by Hogan.
