Default timing cover

do any of you know of any 2 or 3 pcs cover other than comp cam that would fit a gen vi at a reasonable price?
been looking on the internet without luck.
and what would be a good adjustable single roller chain set for a gen vi ?

I had the same problem trying to find covers for a Gen 5. Nobody makes them. As far as I know, Comp is the only one making multi piece covers for Gen 6.

I've run them on mark 4 and gen 5 motors, they are very accurate as far as the timing, they don't jump around like a chain, and they last forever. The Milodon has one gear on a shaft, mounted to the housing, that fits between the cam gear and the crank gear. I doubt you would ever hear it in a boat.

If you going this route you would be better off just to go with the Jesel belt drive.

Gear drives rob HP and cause unwanted valvetrain harmonics. Timing chain or belt drive.

thank's for the inputs guys.
i noticed would need a three pcs cover because can't pull the balancer in place and budjet does not permit gears or belt system at this point,so will stick with stock cover for now.
appreciate all your inputs.JP.
