Ok heres the million dollar question,What cam do you recommend,flat tappet hydraulic as well as hyd roller please.
Here as some of my specs:

flat top forged ross pistons.
canfield 310 heads w/119cc camber to net approx 8.75:1 comp.
B&M 250 blower
nickerson preped 1050 dominator
Gil exhaust
Thanks

Re: Cam experts: reversion question?
Bob;
Thanks for the comparison. I knew that if he was running a flat hydralic with those duration numbers it was BIG compared to the solid roller. I just wasn't sure how "big" or what the rules of thumb were. It looks like if he runs a comparable hydralic cam with ~60 degrees of overlap or less the reversion he is seeing should go away with the Gils.
Some of the "nastiest" cams I've ever heard idleing were solid flat tappets, I assume its from the HUGE overlap from even slower ramps and more lift. I've never messed with any flat tappet stuff though.
