Pettit VIVD Bottom Paint
Has anyone tried the new Pettit VIVD Bottom Paint?
It comes in 5 colors and they can be mixed to get 20 or so colors. I've black bottom paint on my boat now beacues I used to keep boat in the water all the time and it was a necessity.
I talked to PEttit and they said I could paint over the black with the yellow with no problem--just rough it up and go. THe yellow would cover the black with an extra coat or two.
Another boat in marina -- 60' Sunseeker has a clear bottom paint. Anyonbe know anything about that stuff?

..NO, but I sure would like to.. see if you can find anything out and report back ! (hope it's not leftover Dolphinite)
I haven't got any Petit Vivid experience yet .. has'nt been around here too long. I have looked over the contents and I can't see why it should'nt be at least reasonably good...
And to think we complained in the old days about the tin based stuff not lasting ......
