Being a member affords a lot of privileges. Surely exceeds the small price of membership.

OK I'm in the game! Paid in full. When Icalled Amazon in Orlando they told me they don't have any fittings in 3/8"-16 size. 3/8"-24 is all they have. What was I missing? Thanks again for your help.

you must have talked to the FNG(f'in new guy) you cunfussed him by calling them 3/8-16. In the hydraulics buissnes they are called flat face fittings and what you need is a 1/4" male flatface--6AN fitting. They have one SS 90 and one SS striaght in stock, or they should by now anyway, but they wont sell them to you cuase they have my name on them, ORDER YOUR OWN just kidding I will as promised pick them up ASAP and send them out to you.

Great Idea--like the old reseviors I had on a pair of 888 outdrives.

Leads me to another similar probem--filling the trim pumps !!!

Seems like a hose with threaded fitting that could attach to a funnel or pump to top-off all 4 trim pumps.

Every time I try that I get the shakes and even with rags and pads fluid makes a mess.

What are you guys doing for that job ??

Thanks. So, 3/8"-16 straight thread is called a 1/4" flat face in the fluid business? Guess that's almost the same as a 2"x4" being 1/2" shy on both dimensions..... Thanks. Let me know when they go out so I can watch for them. How are they monitoring drive lube in newer drives? I would assume almost the same except the bottle is square, not round...???
