Whats better Radials or Bias PLy for a boat trailer?

I have Good Year Marathon Radials too. I switched from Carlyl Bias Ply's. I not sure if I really notice a difference in ride or not. The Marathons are wearing much better though. The Carlyls wore very unevenly.

DO some reading--there are radials and then there are TRAILER radial--there is a difference-

I had carlysle tires come apart at 2,000 miles. I think they are the cheapest thing out there. I have 245/ 75 R16 radials now. Haven't had a problem on the last 2 trailers. (Other than someone wrecking, then stealing my last trailer )

Two words..."Goodyears Marathons". Not the cheapest , but the best.

Seems like everyone agrees!!! Tried the others on 12K lb load and they blew apart... One more vote for Marathon by Goodyear...

Another GY Marathon happy owner. I've had 4 on the ski boat trailer that gets pulled from Colorado to LOTO many times without an issue.
