If you are not looking to ad a amp then you want something that is very efficient. The Clarion Marines may do it for you. Pioneers also should play well for you. The less efficient speakers may sound better but will not play as loud.

Try the Infinity 6.5 marine two ways. 99 bucks from Crutchfield.

Infinitys are usually pretty efficient, like 90 dB or better.

I put a pair under my back seat. Like em alot.

Don't get Boss.

They were recommended on here about a year ago. They were VERY inexpensive, so I bought two pair of the 6 1/2" coax.

You can have them if you want...

You can't have my Infinitys.

Get your own.

Poly-planer platinium series. Great speakers. Mine are 3 seasons old now. Not cheap though.

i am in the process of replacing my Clarions w/ Kicker KM60s. The Kickers were $150 but Crutchfield had them on sale for $99 so i snagged them. Should have them installed this weekend & can report back. Unfortunately they will be powered by head unit until i get amp installed.

I have 4 - 6.5 infinity speakers and a 300 watt amp. It is plenty loud and the quality is perfect. I have had the speakers for 3 years now and they have been literally doused in water (rain and salt water). The rubber core makes them wonderful for marine applications. They are not as cheap as some of the alternatives but they will last a lot longer. I think I bought all 4 speakers, monster cables and amp for around 400 at circuit city.
