This goes back to July 02. We were dealing with Kieth, Brett, and some technician. Didnt know anything about Julie till later. TMP got it finally straited out, and got it to run properly with in tolerances. Jeff Jassby

I believe KE took the blame in a few situations where the boat was not rigged properly, i.e. coolant supply to the motor, some engine monitoring issues basically created by the boat builder. Not saying any of the above were involved but lets just say there were some situations with some noteable builders. Do you think the builder took the heat for his lack of knowledge in setting the package up??

It's always easy to pass the buck on to the boat builder. Failure to return numerous phone calls from KE to get the situation straightened out was inexcusable. There were numerous problems with these engines, from fuel injection, to when put into neutral, it would just kill. So the one time they came out to the A.T. factory, the quick fix was to put a breather valve in, in doing so it would spike up to 1250-1500 rpms, not real good for drives. It finally got fixed, but I had to pay for something out of pocket, that was a defect.

You here a lot of good things about KE, and his motors. These motors as well as a few on some Cigs, PP, and Velocities that year at that time had the same problems, they might have gotten them straitened out as the year went by, all I can tell you is on my own personal experiences. Jeff

You should expect 200 hours out of these motors if you run them how? How can you tell if these motors were built by Keith himself or Julie Sullivan?

Thanks,
