540's

Does any one have any experience with the "540 Attack Dog"
motors offered by Marine Engines (ie 1800Runsnew.com)?
Are they dependable?
Has any one had issues with Marine Engines?
Looking at a boat with (2) new ones in it with dyno time only.
Just curious.
Thanks.

Hey Uncle Ernie,
I think my buddy in Detroit still has the Fino for sale. Classic ride with twin 427's. You need to see pics I have at home ... It would sure look good on you!

I have their 502s, good motors. A friend of mine put the 540s in his 38 Formula. Before intall he ran them on a dyno and the numbers were as adsvertized. I know he has had 3-4 seasons, about 300+ hrs. each, with no problems!
