Anybody have Coupler Problems?

Replaced both of mine as soon as I got the new to me boat home. 125 hrs and 3 yrs, they were about to go anytime. All do to a combonation of no greasing by the original owner and poor engine alignment from the factory. I always pull them 1st thing in spring and check for alignment and grease the u-joints.

I probably should have included this info. I bought the boat new, and am actually really good at keeping it serviced. It's lubed and the alignment checked twice a year since I use it a lot. The motor is a 350 Mag MPI with a Procharger. I guess it was just my time after 4 years. Thanks for the info guys.

Well now that the coupler is out of the way, you only have to worry about your gimbal ring and upper in the next year or 2.

If your mom gets thrown in prison too, you'll have the makings for a good country song.
