Ben called me Saturday moring and told me, very sad to hear. I just spoke with Erick on Thursday. He was trying to get everything done for Biloxi. My thoughts are with his mother. He was always a great guy and loved boat racing. He'll be missed by the entire racing community.

Everyone, First of all THANK YOU so very much for all of your kind words and thoughts... Erick is smiling right now with all the attention and kind words.
For anyone who is interested, we are having a gathering of family, friends and racers in Bonita Springs, FL (Ft. Myers area) on Saturday April 30th at Spectators Sports Pub.
