In all classes in OSS, they must be canopy boats. That's their rules....
I am surprised one or two without canopies would have shown up to race without knowing this. :confused:

They must not be OSO members. Get them signed up!!! :drink:

Now that makes more sense.

When you stated earlier they were turned away, it sounded like they showed up to the site and then found out they couldn't run.

At least they didn't make the whole trip then.... :eek:

Allen Christy (open Super Stock boat) was informed that it is an insurance issue. He was also told that they are checking with their provider to see how difficult it will be to change. I have been on the receiving end of two conference calls from OSS Brass. I know first hand how interested OSS is in having our class participate with them.
I do wonder how all of the open boats that have been turned away will take the news, if an exception is made for our class. I hope Biloxi is a blast and the racing is safe. SQ

Kittin.....I lost the L in SVL.....are you guys going to show at any SBI/APBA races.....if not the first race that we can do of OSS that don't conflict will be Orange Beach, AL. So hope you guys will be there.....

good testing action today Typhoon broke on first round, fixed and went back out, Team Reliable looked real good but sound like she had a lot more during first round hit the rev limiter a few times, but with 5 time world UIM CLASS 1 Champion Steve Curtis on the sticks they are surely likely to contend.

Yes, Ron P. Not sure what Jerry is up to this year. Good to see some more UIM talent racing here in the states. Steve Curtis can get the job done for Tom for sure. Be kool to see Dyke and Curtis dual it out here in the States like they do in Europe in Class 1.
