The land in the back ground is deer island, and the channell runs down the middle, at both ends of the course, there is open water.

the winds were from the north and it is cold here, night time low 39 , tomorrow wind is supposed to change from the south.

there were some fast practice laps, and we expect some very good racing tomorrow. No real certain favorites as of yet the boats are so matched.

As of 9:45 Central races kick off at noon, weather today is clear and sunny but a little chilly, but in the sun, nice.

As for updates i will be watching the race near turn 1, about 2 miles from my hotel, so updates and fresh pics wont happen until the end of the day. i will pm you my cell

I think there are 3 races today, the first is at 11:00 Central Time, S V L (4) & SS Outboards (3) maybe go first.

Pete B had said that the first race is Vee and V lite, second race is SCL & Stock, and third race is the Supercats. Weather is cool and breezy conditions in front of the casinos is flat but no word on if it is rough on both turns like it was last year. He will be phoning me after each race as long as his cell does not die with updates and winners.

I think the pro marine boat in post 8 was the one I saw on 19 in Crystal River Thursday.
