I wasn't being selective. I just took the mileages off the SBI website as they were published.
So they shortened the races and Shane raced anyway?
Say it isn't so....
Just kidding....

This idea of blocking is plain stupid. In Nov Shame raced against all the boats that he was supposed to race in Pt.Pleasant and nobody blocked since Shame was in the back. The idea of this 22 miles is bull****,if he does not want to come to race Randy thats another thing.I will pull in to the infield as soon as the race starts just to watch Randy kick Shame's ass.I don't think Shame has a shot in beating any OSS boats. That some smack talk.

Sharkey, not coming for the money. Bringing our F1 boat, probably p5 for the race. We were invited to come and look forward to being there. It looks like I will spend every weekend on the road in August, gotta love racing.

Also, as I said before, 3 of your last 6 races included Shane. If my memory serves me, he did alright against the black boat in KW. What has changed since then?

If Shane is serious about comin up here for this race, I give him alot of credit. Personally, If I was running the national circuit and lived 1000s of miles away from Jersey, I would think about the logistics of actually making this event.
I say this because, SBI/APBA will be coming off the NC race on Sunday and then have to trek back to their homes and back up to NJ within 4 days and then back down to Ft. Walton Beach the following week. That's 3 weeks straight of racing. How many of you can actually do that? Even if you dont bust up your boats, thats a hell of a lot of time traveling.

What I meant was Shame can use another excuse but to use the excuse about not coming because of the miles was bull****.
Phantom,
That was the whole point, for Shame and MD to go at it.You are right,Shame did well against Randy, and if you recall he beat him in short races in KW.
At this point,I could care less if Shame comes or does not.It just sucks when you blame Smitty for not delivering a letter.

Klaatu mentioned the blocking part.
As far as Key West, Typhoon had some water issues. If I remember right, they couldn't dump the ballast tank. So yeah I guess he ran pretty good against a boat full of water....
