Pickwick is my backyard...Its a small town but they are expecting up to 90,000 people for the event. They are expecting some of the teams to be arriving as early as today. Should be alot of fun for racers and spectators. Most of the rooms are booked for miles. The closest places to check will be Savanna TN (10 min away), Iuka, MS (15min away) or Corinth MS (20 min away). Memphis International Airport is 1 hr 45 min. If anyone needs anything more let me know.

90,000?? I wouldn't be suprized. It's small towns like this that bring the people out for a boat race.

The small races up in Michigan always had the biggest turn outs. The Algonac race we went to was unreal, there were so many spectators, I think it's because it's such a small town that the word spreads so quickly.

Nichols Offshore and Adrenaline are the first arrivals. Pickwick is ready for a race!!!
