Thanks everyone. Just got back after a long drive
Ill tell ya......what a blast I had.
I was a bit hesitant to accept the offer from Eric. Only because of the company I was (Great teams), and that I had no seat time in the boat due to bad weather on Saturday. By the time I got strapped in and the green flag dropped. I just ran the boat like I ran my own...HARD. Eric and I worked well together and everything was goin great until it started to rain. And did it ever rain. When the front came in, we couldn't see the next turn. So I just focused on the Green boat with the flouresent scoop. The windshield fogged up and we couldnt see CHIT. Comin round turn 4 finishing lap five, we got the yellow and eventually the red flag. The race was over. And we were in second place. What an absolute rush.
Thanks Eric for the opportunity and everyone who helped us out. We lucked out with prop selection. It was a tough call, Considering we never saw what the water looked like and how rough it was on Saturday.
It was an honor to be part of the WHM family.
