Question heated debates

With the latest heated debates dying down, do you find yourself visiting the board more or less?

I visit less because of all the BS. If everyone put as much effort into the sport as they do their comments then the sport would be an awesome event anywhere.

I visit the same amount, but post less. Even when one has something positive to say, it somehow gets "twisted" out of context. Sometimes its not worth posting, to save one's self from ridicule. As an Offshore Racing fan since the mid 1970's, this forum has been highly benificial to the sport, but at times has also hindered the sport (with all the petty infighting)
A "few" are ruining this forum.

No but we are fans , volunteers, and supporters of Offshore racing, with some close ties.

Shane want makes you so holy that everyone should bow down to you???

We also have opinions, and can voice them in a public forum.
so you can either be constructive or destructive.

I enjoy a good debate but the personal attacks really destroy any chance to have a nonconfrontational conversation. Keep is civil and always respect the other persons opinion and beliefs. That's a good starting point.

I find some people usually try to immediatly discredit the author or attempt to bring out "The hidden Agenda" behind the post. Again, a form of personal attack. And I'd just love to see someone explain this new term "smoke and mirrors". What are you reffering to? Who's hidding what?
