Throttleman-Driver

I Pick Jim Arvis for Driver, I've raced with many drivers and he is the best, I think he is good for one or two positions due to driver skills, also, Ive always thought BJ was a really good driver, I've never raced with him but have been a fan sense he was racing his 24 Pantera, theirs a lot to be said for drivers of single engine boats, specially boats with narrow beams.

Ryan Beckley once said Gary could win Stock Class today in a 24' Skater.

THUG.....Try not to confuse OUT OF CONTROL with TALENT. 7 TIME NATIONAL CHAMPION.
I've known lots of throttlemen there all my heros, Lavin, Stepp, Imprescia, Kimes, Dunteman, Whittier, Ballough, Tomlinson, Dyke, Serralles, Gratton.......they've all got qualities I admire and look up to. I hope to some day achieve any part of what these guys have achieved and done for the sport. Some knew every aspect of the boat some knew less, but they all know how to make it dance.

Now wait a minute, all these names and nobody has stopped to mention, Reggie Fountain.... who with all his wins and also running a V bottom at over 180 Mph at 60 + years old ( we wont say exactly)
Also Steve Curtis, although the crao he has to race with this year is in my eyes at definate par levels with JT.
As drivers go, in a V bottom you will not find anyone that can do it better than Ben Robertson, with Mike seebold a very close 2nd.
I would like to give one last mention to Jeff Harris, Who throttles the crap out of a V- Bottom and wins, and then gets into a cat and does what he is doing to this day....... Unbeaten this year in supercat!!
I have to take my hat off to Erol Lanier who has probably won more races than anybody with an Arneson setup. Multiple times world champion in class one.
Hey this is just my opinion.
Now if I was to say absolute best: Throttleman has to be JT
Driver I cant pinpoint because there are so many!
