Remembering you Doug Lewis. So hard to believe it's been 10 years already but I never stop bringing you up in conversations throughout the year.
Godspeed!

We were in Toronto, waiting for the driver's meeting when I saw Doug sitting on the floor and looking as if he was in deep thought. I asked him what was going on and he replied, " I am trying to calculate the number of compressions of the valve springs on the existing engines. Needless to say, I left him to his math. He left nothing to chance.Tough guy to beat!!!!!

I took my first race boat (Soup to Nuts) to Doug in 1998. Had great advise but way out of my budget at the time. Little did I know I would spend way more chasing a championship for years. Knowledge he had left with him. Years later I can only imagine what he would have created today.
