I think a race series no matter which one should be 75% rough and 25% flat to change it up a little. Just my opinion.

SBI Style? Frank you really need to come up here. Miami was for kids. Nottin like Jersey holes. Anyway, I would race in my bathtub if I had to. Offshore Rocks.

I love watching the Cats run fast and loose.I agree with Dennis, there should be a mix of calm and rough water.I think I lean more to wards the flatter courses for the reason of the equipment. Also in smoother waters everybody can brag about the speeds, although it is more dangerous to run in flat courses in my opinion. What race venues have both conditions?

Re: water conditions

Wil,

I would say Key West has both, Once your in M/S its just a little snotty and down to turn one is normally one to two's, but when you make that turn all hell brakes loose for the next 2 to 3 miles till you back inside M/S...

Cleveland is another, on the inside of the brake wall is calm...then it can get ugly once you head outside into open waters...

Re: water conditions

Their have been plenty of races that are traditionally rough water but have been flat, daytona 2003, is a good example. the prevoius years were nasty.

Gino,
Good ones.I have never raced in Cleveland but it does present a challenge to guess what props to use.I also heard Corpus Christi has the same set up.I guess that is one of the reasons Key West is so tough to win.

Thanks,
Wil
