There were no divisions other than race times. Over and over it is becoming obvious that a few individuals with some sort of agenda want organizations that they are not loyal to, to fail. Think about it is this negativaty good for the sport. I am speaking to people from both sides. To coin a phrase Remember, divided we fall. All this is , is history repeating itself once again. I am just a jockey. I dont know why we can't go to K.W. I have raced there since 1979 and I love the place. Some of my best friends will be there and others will be like me in St. Pete. All of you politically angry people please get angry at something else. You are phucking it up for the rest of us. Sarcasm, negative anaolgys, living in the past, axes grinding on and on, = FAILURE! It is hard enough to get sponsor $. Interested sponsors read this crap. It makes us ALL look like bickering school children. Please please pleasssssse stop. I really do not believe The best of the best means chit other than an advertising verb. It is certainly not aimed at another organization as far as all the teams that I know. The best were that, "the best"only in the last race of any organization. It certainly wasn't me. I would like to be the "best" at the next race I'm in albeit A.P.B.A.' O.S.S., S.B.I.,U.I.M. or what the hell ever!!
Well said Stan. I'll start another post sometime in the future with a couple of ideas on this.

Hold on to your lugnuts. I simply stated the Best of the best was inapropriate. We raced in St Clair and had a blast, and were treated as equals. Same as when we run with Bubba. The Boyz will run where ever the competition is. And we will run in the Great lakes again. Too many boats sitting idle up there. Need to drag them out. Smitty

Smitty,
I read Stan's comments as a desire for true sportsmanship and not a slam at your comments. Like a lot of us, I think he would like for the negative comments to simply go away.

If you are interested in attending the OSS World Championships in St. Petersburg, November 13th-20th, and would like the official race packet sent to your team, please contact the OSS Headquarters office at 361-888-9000.
I believe PX = P-Class extreme, boats with canopies and speeds capable of 200 mph.

Funny how things change....OSS is desperate and they are seeing the pains APBA LLC saw...I wonder how they feel now!

Here is one thread were OSS is saying they have a plan and will not change it and OSS is ONLY for canopy boats.

My apologies! The PX class that I was referring to in the original posting is what is considered the OSS Extreme class. Thank you Stan for the wonderful comments! The Offshore Super Series hopes that all racers in all cities has a very safe race.
