I didn't want ot hijack OSS's thread-BUT- The CBPBA and the OPA would also like to extend an invitation to all PX class boats. We have 4 confirmed at this time and we will be running the second race (PX, P1, P2) on a longer course that will allow the big boys to stretch their legs a little. There will also be a separate purse just for this class based on the number of registered PX boats. I have been coordinating all the events for the weekend and it is gonna be wild, a race not to be missed.

So if it floats and goes fast, bring it, we will find a class for you, just don't forget your party shoes :drink: :evilb: :drink:

Stone Cold What it the total race distance for the P2 race?

And how much fuel does a 42 tiger need to make it home?

Smitty should be able to answer question 1, I think about 50 miles.

Figuring that the yellow tail tiger swallow flaps it's wings at 200 beats per minute and consumes approximately 2 ounces of protien a day eacept when mating. And the North African dung beetle can roll 7 times it's own weight in excrement an hour, while maintaining an average speed of 1.2 cm/minute for stretches of 16 yards or 2 hours, whichever comes first. After tallying the previous specifications and adjusting for tide, wind, water conditions, and load, it seems that there is no reason to know how much fuel it takes to get a 42 Tiger home....Just fill the f*&@ing thing up before you leave :rolleyes: :eek: :cool:

Stone Cold Thank you, that is a very informative post. Now that I know the distance of the race. the wing beat of a swallow and it's fuel consumption, the weight of the dung beetle, I have all of the info I need not to determine the fuel requirements to complete the race in my cat :eek: :eek: :chimp:


Now if I can determine the temperature of the water and the color of the pace boat I can figure what props not to use
