I can't think of anyone in offshore that I respect more than Jim Poplin. Hopefully, I can rearrange my schedule to make it to the race to support him.

P4-5 Bounty Hunter is going to make it......with a loaner motor, loaner prop....... anyone have some loaner gas?

I don't know that boat, but if it fits within the P5 rules (see the SBI/APBA Technical Rules for details at www.superboat.com), which basically are:

- 28 foot or less (no less than 24 foot)
- Single Engine
- Prop calc to determine speed in mph: Pitch X RPM X .01 divided by Gear Ratio divided by 12, then subtract 7 mph. If below 64.9 mph...it's good for P5, although the Chief Referee could say otherwise and has final say.

Nonetheless...bring it...I'm sure it'll fit into one of the P classes! Don't miss Chattanooga...it's gonna be great!

I may just show up to run around all you big motor guys, waiting on my drive to get fixed but if it makes it I think I will be there. Will there be any water like this there????
