How many are going to make the Chattanooga Race?
 

Just wondering how many of you are planning to attend the race Oct 14-16. This will be our first race and unfortunately only race of this year as problems getting the boat ready took longer than thought but we will be ready for next year. We tried to make the Panama City race but had steering and fuel delivery issues and was not able to compete but was able to come and watch as a spectator. We even brought down my friends pantera to watch from the water which was fun. After three years of building this boat, Pirate racing is excited to finally be able to get out there and compete. We even picked up a sponsor and working a deal with a big sponsor for next year. I hope to meet a bunch of you in a few weeks as we are all very excited that racing is coming to our little city. We'll be there...we've been looking forward to you guys joining the P5 party! I understand Pops and crew have done quite a bit of promotion for this race...we don't want to let them down and it sounds like the city is excited we're gonna be there.

Look for us and don't hesitiate to let us know if you need help with anything.

I also talked to Dee Early who's planning be being there with his Crazy Chicken P5 boat and Bob Mazikowski with their Hometown Mortgage SVL boat.

So that makes at least three P5 boats.

Make it 2 for P4... Lee and I are planning to attend. Scrambling to put a motor back together, we had a bit of a meltdown, but it's looking like we're gonna make it.

unfortunately we will not have our two starts in to be able to make those races from what I understand. Next year we will be at almost all the races though. This year has turned out to be a wash for us as building the boat from scratch took a lot longer than we thought. We are still working little gremlins out of it but I am sure it will be ready by Oct. 15. Can't wait to see all of you guys there.
