Default What should I run

I recently bought a 24' pantera less motor and drive. I am going to set this boat up to race and I am looking for some answers for my questions. What class should I run? How much power is allowed. I live on the east coast, south jersey to be exact. I know there is alot more questions I'm going to have so any help would be greatly appriciated

Ok this is Wazzup throwing in here. 1550 Sterling in P1 till you get a handle on it. Then step up. Only kidding, P5 you need to run 70-72. 500 to 550 hp would be perfect. You Need a revlimiter to run the class, and external steering. Call me I'll give you all the info you need Smitty 732 920 3945

Smitty
I thought all F-1 boats are P-4. A 24 Pantera with a 500 will run 80. This should be a P-4 boat according to the rules. Happy Holidays.

Not a 79 conventional vee. My boat ran 74 with 520 dynoed hp before adding weight. They are very heavy little boats

Thanks Scotty, I was going to answere that one. But figured they'd say I was nutz. Those Pantara's are a little hard to push. Real easy to fly though.
