After not racing off of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ in front of Jenkinson's last year, and not knowing whether the racing would return for 2006, I took some time to go scout out an alternative race site. (Plan B)

Whether or not the idea flies, or maybe Point will be back on the racing ciruit, I thought I would share the photos with the you to see what you think of the area....

Some positives:

Highway frontage for the Pits

Very short distance to the inlet and race course

Municiple Marina has ramp and floating docks

Great sponsor potential

Downside:
Tight channel along the marina.

D'Jais , boardwalk / beach or boat for viewing race
