China Comes to Fruition II
I was going to delete my post, but the OSO admin has graciously, taken care of this! Thank OSO!
I posted this, as I believed this was an unique event, that at the very least would provide exposure for the SPORT of Offshore Racing. So again, look what I found on the Superboat Web-site! http://www.superboat.com/news.cfm So with that said....does anyone know how to say "Prop Goddess" in Chinese? :p Julie |

I can see it now.....Augie goes to China and cooks in the pits. It's such a local hit, that he's signed up to franchise his expertise into a 100 store chain across the country called Augies Jersey Boyz Bistro. He later comes back and resurrects the Bennihana races under his Bistro name. As for the condo, I'd re-consider taking that thing to China. Do you know how many people could live in that thing? :evilb:Watch, the condo is stolen and found weeks later in a remote village housing 4 families comfortably. Mark, You need to write novels or movie scripts !!!! :drink: Dave |
Re: China Comes to Fruition II
Good Stuff Mark. If it works out that way I'll give you your own Jersey Boyz Bistro!

Re: China Comes to Fruition II

Re: China Comes to Fruition II

Re: China Comes to Fruition II
So what is the laws on exporting food from the US ???? Anyone know?? That would be fun !!! An American cookout in China !!! Now that would get some attention. Can we bring beer???? :drink: Dave

Re: China Comes to Fruition II
Dave although beer would be ahh, great.....we must expand our horizons and take in the local flavors! But we can sear the tuna, for the sushi!
Sushi and Saki anyone! :drink: Julie |
Re: China Comes to Fruition II
Okay...before us "fat, dumb, capitalist" Americans get to China...let's do a little research on the Chinese culture, and no, you're local Chinese restaurant down the street is not it.
I've been to at least 21 countries in my life, each with a unique culture. We Americans can be very insulting without even knowing it, especially with Asian countries. I hope whoever gets selected to represent American offshore racing in China takes about 30 minutes to research the country. The last thing you want to do is start referring to things that are Japanese to your Chinese hosts...does not leave a good impression. BTW...I would steer away from any discussion about Taiwan. However, that doesn't mean we can't throw them a good ole' American pit party. :drink: BTW...Don't be surprised when you can run down to the Wal-Mart and pick up some ice cold Bud and Pepsi, or stop by McDonalds for breakfast on the way to the pits. :D Oh yea, and China has over 111 million internet users. I wonder how many are registered on OSO? Sean |

AHHHHH there's gotta be a couple of cows in China. When Smitty and I cook them a steak with Hoboken Eddie's Sauce on it with our special spices they may keep us there.
