New Boat is here

Been running ok since I ripped the fuel injection off of her. No blower and an 850 Holley pushes her at 85 mph. I'll get the blower back on and should be in triple digits!
Can't wait to see yours run! Is it ready to go?

For the turbine class in OSS do you have the choice to run direct drive or could you use #6's??? From what I read it looks like you have to have a rudder system on these, is that correct? If so is it safer with that set-up?

what's the deal with the outboard hanging in the back, i'm guessing that's to get around the docks. right ? but doesn't that make a lot of drag ?

Jet Set, a 40' Skater Turbine here in Jersey, has the small o/b as well..it's on a hydraulic lift, so it stays clear, underway...

No "hollywood" fire shows for turbine class. It's not apropriate in a proffessional racing environment.
But gftha your right the fans would probably enjoy it.
You won't see any hanging outboards in the new class either.
We'll be testing the new platinum this weekend in C. City
